This Apollo Valve 10-512 series steam relief valve shields against excess pressure from thermal expansion and steam triggered by failure of BTU input controls. It has a brass body, a 50 pounds per square inch (psi) relief pressure, a 1/2" male National Pipe Thread (NPT) inlet connection, 1/2" female NPT outlet, and a pull ring for manual pressure relief. The valve's body, nozzle, and cap are brass for resistance to deterioration, and the seat is silicone for resistance to high temperatures. The spring is stainless steel and the pull ring is zinc-coated steel for resistance to deterioration. The valve can be utilized in operating temperature levels around 300 degrees F, and it has a discharge capability of around 725 lb. / hr. It is American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) safety ranked for Area VIII pressure vessels, and it is marked CE for European conformity.
