Manufacturer Description

This NIBCO NL998H8 BRS ball valve is made of chrome-plated brass for higher rust resistance than routine brass or steel, and has a lever manage for on/off manual control, and complete port flow for higher operating effectiveness than standard port. This two-piece inline valve has 3/4" female National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads for connecting 2 male threaded pipelines going in the same direction, and PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) seats for resistance to chemicals, wetness, and high temperatures. It is pressure ranked to 600 pounds per square inch (psi) for cold working pressure (CWP) and has a blow-out evidence stem to decrease leakage and valve damage. This complete port ball valve meets NSF International/American National Standards Institute (NSF/ANSI) 61.8 standards for drinkable water use and is appropriate for use in residential and light commercial applications.

Ball valves make use of a spherical disc to regulate the flow in between pipelines, tubes, or hoses.
