This Valterra 200-C15 check valve is made from clear schedule 40 PVC (polyvinyl chloride) for strength and resistance to deterioration and moderate chemicals. Its EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) seal resists deterioration triggered by water and oils, and the swing/spring construction of this valve makes it possible to install it in any position. It has a 1-1/2" slip connection at each end, which should be secured with glue, a maximum pressure ranking of 150 pounds per square inch (psi), and a spring tension of 1/2 lb. This check valve appropriates for use with landscape and watering, pool and health club, aquaculture, and general purpose applications.Check valves have two
